Tarmac Rally

Three reasons why Tarmac Rally Rules.

1. THE CARS look FREAKING AMAZING.
Based on stock but soooooo not. Slammed to the deck. in Tarmac form WRC cars look super pumped extreme widebody ultimate tuner's car AND rally cars are RELIABLE!

2. LOCATION
Usually it's caning through the mountains and super speed. forest flashing by until you reach hairpins like these. Grab the brake, a quick flick then POWER POWER POWER. ALL DAY!

3. The Drivers are INSANE.

200kph beside a 500ft drop. From snow & rain to desert heat, these guys perform with limited preparation and simply go fast anywhere. Thats what they do.

These shots of the Fiesta testing are just a reminder of cool.

Remember the tour de course in France, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWzWduJ0zM8
I can imagine blasting along in something crazy Grouppe B!!

I guess hillclimb falls into this category. Home of ex- rally and grouppe B cars

XD-XG Utes

Looking for a ute as a tow vehicle.

Why not make it the Race Vehicle!

I'm loving this XG ute.

Earlier cars are too expensive. I love XA,B,C utes best, but they are all rusted away or super expensive restos these days.

XD~G models seem to be good and the engine swap options are many as they were sold from 1980~1996 with V8s and inline 6s with and without turbo..

The XF Dick Johnson Grand Prix Turbo Model (26  made) Flares would make a great addition and some Deep Dish 17" or 18"

Taking inspiration from early Aussie stuff.

Love the beast. Love the Falcon.

V8 Rumble

Last round is in Sydney around the outside of the 2000 Olympic stadium. Here the cars are parading through the Sydney downtown area. Now that would have been cool!

But don't try finding too much info on V8 Supercars. The Aussie promoters make everyone pay for everything and their website is so slow and cluttered its painful.
